My Story
Stress affected so many areas of my life that, layer by layer, it was destroying me. It started with my health, then my career, and later my mindset. I was unhappy and felt so lost. Then years went by and quick fixes didn’t last, and so I never properly healed.
In order to heal and move on with my life, I had to climb a mountain; physically, mentally, spiritually. Happiness was at the summit and I knew that getting there was going to be hard work, a long journey. The adventure would end with conquering the beast, gaining clarity and insight into my life, but that still wasn’t the end for me.
I continued on, excited to rediscover the next best version of me. Learning how to manage setbacks and negativity, doing my best to prevent harmful stress in my life again. Stress is a life-long teacher… adapt to it, learn from it, and move on. That, my friend, is true healing and strength.
Understanding What Was Important
What shook me to the core was my life of stress and how it changed me for the worse. Everyday I felt ill or sore. Everyday I was depressed. Life is too short for this crap and I was going nowhere, fast. Then…the anxiety hit me like a ton of bricks, my blood pressure shot up in a burst, I felt a burning pain in my arms and chest - I couldn’t breathe.
That’s my tipping point. The moment of realization that gave me new perspective and strength to make positive changes in my life. It was an opportunity to learn what affected me and how it affected me. It was after my doctor’s visit that I took time off to re-evaluate my life, taking a deeper look into my current and past situations, as well as my traumas. I would also see the many toxic people in my life, and my patterns, that have directly impacted my confidence and progress to move forward. I reflected on my time wasters, my usual negative thoughts, the constant over worrying mindset, and more unhealthy habits. All of which set my path to healing.

chance to rediscover yourself”

Finding Balance & Perspective
As I mentioned before, chronic stress not only affected me physically, but my mind and soul as well. I felt so stuck, hopeless and lost.
Feeling that lost was indescribable. Many factors contributed to how I felt and fuelled my stress and anxiety. I tried quick fixes but the outcome was always the same. I would reach my tipping point and was now so far off the path that I didn’t even recognize myself.
I knew I had to change my mindset, what I value most, and dive deeper into healing in order to move forward. That was no easy task. It was my mountain. My Everest.
The journey to find myself and rediscover happiness was hard work but it gave me the strength to overcome my battles. I’m certainly not perfect, and always have a lot to learn, but this long adventure has restored my balance and presented me with a new perspective in life.
I have found happiness. Now I am here to help you find yours.
Rediscover Happiness
Figuring all this out didn’t happen over night. Nor did the idea of being a coach. It was decades of hard life lessons that prepared me to the person I am today. Now I dedicate myself to the service of helping others, lending an ear and sharing my innovative strategies. Since the desire to help others and be an influencer was so prominent in my everyday life, coaching was a natural fit.
I have 20+ years of experience in professional and personal development, wellness, career, business, and marketing. I’ve been a volunteer mentor for more than 10 years, then became a life coach part-time for 7 years, then officially became a full-time practice in 2018.

“Jennifer is a truly genuine person with a vast background. I am struggling with a lot of things in life and she has been very helpful to provide me with clarity. She puts in a lot of work to ensure we get the most out of our time, which is a far cry from my last coach. If you're looking for a life coach I strongly recommend her.”

“I came to Jennifer because I was all over the place with my career. I wasn’t very happy where I landed and didn’t know how to start changing things. Jen worked with me by listening to some of my passions and put me on a path to follow to get where I want to go. She's been so inspiring and supportive that I feel confident on where I am going and hopefully end up. Thank-you Jennifer for your continued support and coaching.”

“I had a great experience with Jen. She helped me get things sorted out in my life as I suffered from depression and anxiety. I drive 40 minutes every other week to see her and its worth it. Afterwards, I'm always positive and always have a plan.”
